The 265 MW facility utilizes 112 American-made 2.3 MW Siemens Gamesa wind turbines with towers manufactured in California, blades in Iowa, and nacelles in Kansas. The purchase of the wind turbines generated more than $20 million in sales tax revenue for Imperial County and the state.
