Textured surfaces can reduce reflections and glare intensity. In this work, three textured glass surfaces are described and simulated numerically over a wide range of AOIs. The anti-reflection effect and light trapping effect are provided to analyze the transmission gain across a wide range of AOIs.
A self-assembled nanotextured surface on both sides of glass presents high transparency over a broadband wavelength and across a wide range of incidence angles. 11 The optimized average transmission is 99.7% in the range of 390–700 nm under normal-incidence. The efficiency gain is 0.39% compared with conventional glass covers.
